Brazilian Jiu Jitsu or BJJ is an art where the majority of the fight is carried out on the floor until a submission or a pre determined time limit is reached.
In competition the winner of a bout is either the one that has dominated a fight and accumulated the most points or a competitor that can cause their opponent to submit.
Derby Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is guided by Braulio Estima (3 times World Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Champion) with the classes being delivered by Sensei Patrick Martin.
The techniques and training philosophy here at the Nagare-En Martial Arts Academy has already produced 2 World Champions and a European Champion.
